The Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library are hosting their Fall Book Sale on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A bag full of books is $3 for members of the Friends and $5 for nonmembers. The event’s theme is “Leafin’ Through Books.” If possible, customers are encouraged to provide their own brown grocery bags or comparably sized bags or boxes.

Dick Luehring, Vice President of Operations for the Friends of the RB Library, said that the book sale is a great bargain for books, CDs and DVDs, as well as a chance to meet other library patrons and learn about free programs at the library. He added, “This library means a great deal to people in our community, and every penny from our sales goes toward new books and materials for the library and for programs for both children and adults, such as the summer reading program.”
