The 3rd Annual Poodles On Parade Extravaganza will run Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19 for three days of poodle-centric fun. Friday night will start with a “yappy hour” and dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 at Rancho Bernardo Community Park. Human attendees should bring food for their own poodles due to possible allergies, and register in advance at


Saturday is an all-day affair at Webb Park, with vendors, raffles, a mini petting zoo, professional photo opportunities, and demonstrations. The parade itself will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a number of contests recognizing poodles with the best hairdo, trick, costume, and matching human costume. Preregistration is required for some activities, including boxed lunches from Elements Café and a second happy hour at Koi Zen Cellars Craft Winery.


The final event is an agility demonstration Sunday at Rancho Bernardo Park by the Ed Brown Center. See more at
