Bernardo Heights Country Club will host the annual ClubCorp Charity Classic golf tournament on Sunday, Sept. 16. This is the club’s first year participating in the classic, which was founded in 2007 and has raised over $17 million for philanthropic organizations throughout the nation. The private golf course will be open to the public for the scramble-format event, which will start at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. This year’s event will benefit Special Olympics of San Diego County, Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS, and the ClubCorp Employee Partners Care Foundation.

The $125 entry fee includes golf, prizes, dinner, and a silent auction. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m., and tickets to just the dinner portion are $50. The evening will include stories and perspectives from Special Olympics athletes.
