The featured speaker at the annual meeting of the Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library will be Patricia Jenkins, Branch Manager, who will announce new services at the library. The meeting is open to the public and is scheduled for 10 am Saturday, Feb. 3, in the second-floor library community room at 17110 Bernardo Center Dr.

Trish will speak on new additions to library programs, such as a new Memory Lab and Creative Writing Group, which along with other library classes are free to the public. She will outline classes for children and will introduce the new Youth Services Librarian, Steven Roman, who will discuss the library STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) program for children. Computer services, such as adding Ancestry.com volunteers to assist patrons, will also be addressed. She said this is a look at the what the new year will bring to the RB Library.

Judith Levine, RB Friends President, said she is hoping the community will take this opportunity to meet Trish and discuss new services at the library with her. She noted that complimentary refreshments will be served at the presentation, which will also include a short RB Friends annual meeting.
