When they met at a music festival in the Italian hill town of Orvieto, about seven years ago, these three top talents coalesced into the compelling Orvieto Piano Trio.

With each having significant musical backgrounds, they were merged by the synergy of their music and and have been delighting audiences ever since. The trio, Dr. Bryan Chow, Luren Basney, and Daniel Frankhuizen, are scheduled to perform at the Rancho Bernardo Library at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27. They will present works for piano, violin and cello by Piazzolla, Shostakovich and Dvorak. The concert will be in the second floor community room and there is no charge for this concert. Free-will donations are encouraged.

This concert is part of a series of classical music presentations by the nonprofit RB Library Friends. For more information on the Friends’ concerts and their mission to support the local library and community, please visit their website at friendsoftheranchobernardolibrary.org.
