The 3rd Annual Kickin’ It Challenge, a two-day soccer tournament to help fight the battle against breast cancer, is now open for registration and closes on May 19. All proceeds raised will go to Susan G. Komen San Diego to provide free services to women for every step of their breast cancer journey, which includes education, outreach, free mammograms, breast cancer research and more. The tournament will be held on June 21 and 22 at Frances Ryan Park in Escondido.

“I had three friends get diagnosed with breast cancer just this past year. This gives me even more motivation to put on this unique fundraiser that honors and supports soccer moms, many of whom continue to drive their kids to the soccer field while battling breast cancer,” said Pam Bickel, Kickin’ It Challenge Founder. “This year our goal is to raise more than $50,000.”
